It's about that time of year again.
I'm not talking about how people go crazy with trying to find gifts for there loved ones the day before Christmas... I have already done that. What I'm talking about is the goals people set for themselves with the coming of the New Year and only follow through with them for two weeks at the most. Personally, I don't see the point of that. It's like buying your significant other a gift on Valentines Day, instead of expressing your love for them every other day of the year.
People are going to be rushing to the gyms, and McDonalds will go out of business for a few days. I guess what I'm getting at by ranting about the Fat Population of America, is that I don't believe in New Years Resolutions. Every year I tell myself I'll be a nicer person, and not be as 'abusive' to my friends. That lasts a few minutes untill I go crazy over some kind of anime, or just get to high off of sugar. So, this year will be a little different. Instead of dreaming up a goal for myself, I'm going to think of one for America.

I'm hoping that in the coming year, people will be able to open there eyes and become more accepting in society. There are many beautiful people out there who do not follow the common Norm. Everyone is important as an individual, I think that wearing what you wear doesnt give you more authority then others. I also feel that your sexual orientation doesnt autimatically make you a failure to society, or some perfect child.

I'm hoping that everyone will be able to open up and be themselves with out the fear of being ridiculed.

That's what I want for 2009.
